It was once the typewriting and shorthand was an important skills to be learnt. Which was replaced by Computers and printers. Audio and video cassettes, DVDs do not exist anymore. Which is replaced by online music apps, podcast, Amazon prime and Netflex.
The things around us change, similarly the skills that are required at this time have also changed, and we need to update ourselves. The major skills that are required to be learnt to keep ourselves updated at this present moment as a tutor are Tech Skills and Soft Skill, so that we can stay ahead of the crowd.

In this blog, I will be writing on the skills that are required for a future tutor. And my focus is going to be online education and online teaching, because as a tutor I would like to help the tutor community and by doing so I can also keep in pace with the new technology and update myself.
This blog is specialized in providing educational information to educators how are getting transformed from traditional classroom to virtual class due to the pandemic situation. Thought of categorizing the posts based on the skills – tech and soft skills which are more important for an effective online education.
Soft skills, also known as core skills, which are desirable in all professions especially in teaching : which include digital literacy, critical thinking, public speaking, professional writing, teamwork, leadership, professional attitude, etc.
Technical skills are the specific knowledge and competence required to complete complicated actions, activities, and processes in the fields of digital and physical technology, as well as a wide range of other businesses.
